Camp-Ins

Experience the ultimate exploration of science with an all night camp-in. Your overnight experience includes a science presentation of your choice, a hands-on activity, and time to adventure around the Center. An evening snack or dinner and a light breakfast are included.

Science Presentations

(choose only one)

• Movie Set Magic: Get fired up! Discover the light and sound secrets of special effects in movies.
• Space In Motion: Test Newton's Laws of Motion in demonstrations that give students a better idea of how moving objects behave on Earth as well as in space.

Hands-On Activities

(choose only one)

• Robot Construction: Accept the challenge to build a working robot to complete your mission.
• Eggstronaut Splashdown: Work together to get the Eggstronaut safely back to earth using capsule supplies.
• Marble Roller Coaster: Teams can create and build the ultimate marble roller coaster with loops jumps and drops.

Arrive as early as 5:30 p.m., and depart at 8:30 a.m. the following morning. Groups must have a minimum of 30 children or pay the cost of a 30-child group.

Almost Overnight

A Private Science Party for Students

Create you own private adventure with an Almost Overnight events. Almost Overnights are four-hour adventures and include the same events as our general Camp-Ins. Your group may explore the Center, enjoy a presentation, eat a pizza dinner and participate in a special hands-on activity.

Almost Overnights are for 30 or more students, and appropriate for ages 5 and up. Adult supervision is required. A $50 non-refundable deposit will hold your date with a minimum program price of $450.
